We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys from Nov 11- Dec 18. All toys will be distributed to families in need within the HEB area. Drop-Off Locations to be listed soon!
About Us
Whitman's Lunchbox was founded to help close the gap in the community where government sponsored school lunch programs and local food pantries do not reach. Almost everyone knows someone or has been that someone who faced food insecurities at some point in childhood. There are countless children who do not eat at school, and often do not have access to food after school or for dinner that go unnoticed.

We understand there are infinite circumstances that may lead a family to face these challenges at some point. We also know that while it can be embarrassing or difficult for adults to ask for help, children and teens are even more sensitive and vulnerable. That is why at Whitman's Lunchbox HOW we help is as important as the help itself.
We provide assistance and meals to children and families in a way that preserves their dignity and doesn't make them feel any different than other children who take a lunch to school or come home to an afterschool snack.
HUNGRY?
As parents, we know there's nothing more heart-wrenching than thinking of a child going hungry, especially when they should be focused on learning and growing. That's why we've poured our hearts into creating a free lunch program that not only nourishes their bodies but also respects their dignity.
LUNCHTIME
We provide wholesome, balanced meals directly to children who would otherwise go without, but here is the unique part: our delivery process is designed to be discreet, allowing kids to blend in with their peers. No more awkward moments or feeling singled out. We believe every child deserves the joy of a worry-free lunchtime, where they can just be kids.
